Meet the Team

Andy Prow

Managing Director
As the founding owner Director of Aura Software Security my primary roll nowadays is as the chief ambassador of the Aura group, publically speaking at conferences such as TechEd and OWASP.

On one hand I’m an entrepreneur who strives for perfection and drives the company onwards and upwards yet on the other hand I’m still a ‘die hard’ techo who loves to keep a finger on the pulse of the latest advances in the IT security and software industry.

Diane Prow

Finance Manager
As a completely non-technical part owner in Aura Software Security I keep myself safely tucked away in the office dealing with all the office finances, conferences details, travel, advertising and promotional material, - leaving all the technical challenges to the experts (Then they leave all the organisation to me!)

Mark Keegan

Lead Security Consultant
Mark is a co-founder of Aura Software Security and was involved in the initial startup and design of the company.

Mark now heads up the Aura Software Security testing practice and is the first point of contact for any technical or logistical enquiries. He has a solid background in development practices and specialises in testing web applications for security related issues.

Graeme Neilson

Security Consultant & Researcher
Graeme has over 10 years experience in information security. Recent projects have included secure network design reviews and penetration testing for government agencies and corporate. Graeme specialises in network infrastructure, reverse engineering and mobile platforms.

He is active in the security research community and has spoken at security conferences across the globe including Black Hat (US), Ruxcon (Australia), Troopers (Germany) and Kiwicon (NZ). Graeme is the architect of RedEye - Aura Software Security's managed vulnerability scanning service.

Stephen Aitchison

Software Developer
After previously working for NZDF I moved to Aura Software Architects Ltd in 2007 - I have since been brought over to further develop our popular RedEye vulnerabilty scanner using .Net Technologies.

Stephen was recently promoted to lead developer for the RedEye product - taking the initiative with researching and adding/enhancing functionality.

As a true techo I provide development and support for many different projects within the Aura group, as well as performing IT Security research and penetration testing services.

Scott Fletcher

Security Consultant & Trainer
Scott joined Aura with a background in software development specialising in web and associated technologies. Scott is one of Auras penetration testers and a presenter of Auras "Teaching Good Guys Bad Tricks" development team training course.

Recent engagements have included security reviews, training courses for government and multinational corporate entities and penetration testing across both public and private sectors.

Sally Heggie

RedEye Operations
Sally is in charge of the RedEye project with tasks ranging from Analysing incoming Scans to testing existing/new functionality prior to release in our development and testing environments.

Sally is a part-time employee with the overview of development and testing working closely with Stephen on projects.
